Reports To: Director of Operations & CEO

Location: Remote for the first 90 days, after which relocation to our Las Vegas office is required, contingent upon closing the first deal.

Schedule: 20-30 hours per week (flexible hours)

Compensation: $150,000-$350,000 in the first year (performance-based)

POSITION OVERVIEW

As an Acquisitions Associate, you will play a key role in identifying, evaluating, and managing potential business acquisitions from initial outreach through the Letter of Intent (LOI) stage. You will analyze financials, assess strategic fit, and collaborate closely with senior leadership to advance qualified deals through the acquisition pipeline.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Source both off-market and brokered acquisition opportunities.

  2. Conduct initial audits and preliminary due diligence on target companies.

  3. Build and maintain strong relationships with business owners, brokers, and intermediaries.

  4. Manage deal flow and maintain accurate records within the CRM system.

  5. Collaborate with finance and legal teams to prepare materials and coordinate the execution of LOIs.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field (MBA or advanced degree preferred).

  • Proven analytical and financial modeling skills with the ability to assess company performance and deal structures.

  • 1–3 years of experience in M&A, investment banking, private equity, or related fields.

  • Strong understanding of valuation methods, due diligence processes, and transaction execution.

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills with business owners and internal stakeholders.

COMPENSATION

  • Commission-Based: 1.5% of the acquisition purchase price for each deal where the associate helps close.

    • Payout Structure: 25% paid upon transaction close; 75% paid across 12 monthly installments.

  • Early-Stage Equity Grant Opportunity: Earn 0.5–1.2% equity in the holding company (with vesting and a cliff) for being among the first five associates to successfully close a deal.

  • Earnings Potential: $150,000–$350,000 in the first year (performance-based).
