Reports To: Director of Operations & CEO

Location: Remote for the first 90 days, after which relocation to our Las Vegas office is required, contingent upon closing the first deal.

Compensation: $120,000-$300,000 in the first year (performance-based)

POSITION OVERVIEW

The Investor Relations Associate plays a pivotal role in supporting Maldona Equity’s capital-raising efforts and maintaining strong relationships with investors. In this role, you’ll identify and engage potential equity partners, high-net-worth individuals, and strategic investors, while supporting ongoing fundraising and investor communications initiatives.

You’ll host discovery calls, nurture investor relationships, and collaborate with the acquisitions and finance teams to align investor interests with the firm’s active deal pipeline.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Source, identify, and qualify potential investors across multiple channels.

  2. Conduct investor discovery, follow-up, and relationship management calls.

  3. Maintain accurate investor data, correspondence, and activity tracking within the CRM system.

  4. Support the planning and execution of investor webinars, updates, and quarterly reports.

  5. Collaborate with acquisitions and finance teams to align capital sources with active and upcoming deals.

  6. Assist in preparing investor materials, pitch decks, and due diligence documentation.

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Communications, or a related field (MBA or advanced degree preferred).

  2. Strong understanding of investment principles, capital markets, and private equity structures.

  3. 1–3 years of experience in investor relations, fundraising, client relations, or financial communications.

  4. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to convey complex information clearly to investors.

  5. Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with investors, partners, and internal teams.

COMPENSATION

  • 1–1.5% of the acquisition purchase price for each deal in which the associate helps raise capital.

    • Payout Schedule: 25% upon transaction close and 75% distributed across 12 monthly installments.

  • Early-Stage Equity Grant Opportunity: Earn 0.5–1.2% equity in the holding company (with vesting and a cliff) for being among the first five associates to successfully close a deal.

  • Earnings Potential: $120,000–$300,000 in first-year commissions (performance-based).
